Great to see photo of Johnny Sansted, one of a kind. And I have very fond memories of Knife Lake Dorthy and her kindness to some "special people" I guided on a week's trip past her place.

Enjoyed reading your article. It took me back to memories of many canoe trips in the Quetico, particularly to Lake Argo and the poet lakes.

Jon, Really nice to see these pix. I paddled for two years as Portage crew out of Cache Bay in the early 1980's. I have very fond memories of you and your family. Thank you for the wonderful reminder of a special time and place. I hope you are all well.

Really enjoyed your lichen photos. I have seen most of these in Newfoundland over the years.I really enjoyed reading your article on lichens. I am a amateur naturalist and photographer and have been studying and photographing the lichens around my province of Newfoundland for the past few years.
Regards.

Well I like the Damn things and I don't care what ANYBODY else says! [That's my attempt at a joke]
I think your HDR photos are a unique and interesting way of "seeing" what we are looking at.,In my opinion, anything that arouses us from the ordinary into a more aware state is often useful. Keep up the good work and experimentation.
